Last night was my 11th Sting Concert, on January 11th, 2015. How appropriate. He put on an awesome show!
I went out for some long exposure street photography before the show.
Lots of lights around the American Airlines Center.
This was fun. I was approached by an officer who asked what kind of photos I was doing, no problems there. I showed him a long exposure from the other night that I'd done. A chick on a corner with a camera and a tripod probably isn't normal either.

Now I will post the setlist for this Sting #ATTPlaylistLive
He opened with my favorite...
1. Englishman in New York *Be Yourself No Matter What They Say* - We arrived in Houston so early in September of 2004 that Sting was doing a sound check of this song as we walked to wait outside of the venue, it was the first song I heard of his live.
2. Every Little Thing She Does is Magic
4. Driven To Tears "How can you say... that you're not responsible- what does it have to do with me."
5. So Lonely THE AUDIENCE DID NOT KNOW THIS SONG. <Disbelief>
6. De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da "Don't think me unkind, words are hard to find.."
7. Message in a Bottle One of the greatest songs in history. Even better with the whole band playing "Rescue me before I fall into despair."
8. When The World is Running Down (You make the best out of what's still around) This was my favorite song of the entire show (also the audience didnt recognize this one- more sadness).
9. Roxanne GREAT performance, high energy up tempo compared to the last few shows I've been to.
10. Desert Rose I do love this song, but I'd rather hear Brand New Day... or something from Sacred love, but I love all of his songs not just his hits.
11. King of Pain That's my soul up there....
(*encore)
13. Fragile
I feel extremely fortunate to have been to so many of Sting's concerts. I've listened to him since my early childhood and he's impacted my life, my education and how I think. It is such a wonderful opportunity to see a performance of his.
