I don't want to talk about this month. I don't like the situation I've been placed into or the anxiety it has caused. So, I run, I walk, I jog or wander out in the country with my eager companions.
I've been too tired to do very much photography and too annoyed that my lens is still broken despite $150 in repairs. But I will replace it this week, thats what I worked for, it was my goal. It was my means to an end, while I continue my search for more permanent employment.
Clumsy Ace watches for the other dogs, his goal is to make me eat gravel someday. I'm fairly certain he will be the dog to do it too, since he likes to run ahead of me and turn totally sideways as he waits on me to crash into him.
The persimmons are ripe and hanging heavy on the trees.
These are the big cats we see around here now as we wait for the future wells to go up and the drilling to begin on our little road.
The sumac is changing. The seasons are changing, anxious Autumn has arrived.
Since 2007 I have decided that I do not like October. Although now I welcome the cooling weather and appreciate my winter running months, for personal reasons October is a month I don't like. I tick away the days on the calendar and wait for it to slip away into another November.
This little turtle just looked angry with his red eyes staring out at me along the path that I was walking.
I adore your photos. You tell such beautiful stories by moment.... That sumac leaf is stunning!
